The sorter is a FacsAria called Sorp specially designed for research.
It is equipped with 5 excitation sources (355, 405, 488, 561, 633 nm) and a PMT on the FSC size parameter allowing the detection and sorting of microparticles / microvesicles. A real UV laser has been installed for a better detection of stem cells of “Side Population” phenotype.
19 parameters are available including 16 in fluorescence (PMT) + one PMT in FSC (microparticles / microvesicles > 0,2μm).
This sorter is dedicated to the sorting of L1 and L2 class cells that do not contain human pathogens.
